Statement of Faith

At myIchthus Christian Social Network we require all staff members to also agree with our Statement of Faith 

We Believe he Bible is the inspired Word of God.

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" 2 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV)

We Believe there is only one God . 

"Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts:   ‘ I am the First and I am the Last;  Besides Me there is no God."  -Isaiah 44:6 (NKJV)
       

We believe in the Holy Trinity, that God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one being revealed to us as three separate holy entities. 

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one!" - Deuteronomy 6:4 (NKJV)

"Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live." 1 Corinthians 8:6 (NKJV)

"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.: 2 Corinthians 13:14 (NKJV)
 

We believe in that Jesus was born from a virgin.

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,”^[a] which is translated, “God with us.”  - Matthew 1:23 (NKJV)

We Believe Jesus performed miracles.

"Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw." - Matthew 12:22 (NKJV)

We Believe that Jesus was crucified on the cross for our sins, that he was buried in a borrowed tomb, and that he raised from the dead on the third day.

We Believe that all can come to accept Salvation from our Lord Jesus Christ if we simply ask.

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."  - John 1:12-13 (NKJV)

We Believe in the Great Commission and believe that this site is our mission field.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. - Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV)
